About this bar

The Catongo beans from Lajedo do Ouro Farm gave rise to the first chocolate bar we created with Brazilian cacao. Since the beginning, it blew our minds and still does. Catongo is a rare albino cacao bean that gives a lighter color and creamy texture – It feels like a milk chocolate bar without actually having milk (hello vegan friends!) – with an interesting complexity of flavors, not too sweet and a savory pepper hint. Bahia 70% is part of our single-origin collection with beans from our beloved Brazil.

Formerly called Brasil 70%, it now receives the name of the State of origin of its cacao.
